Wisely BV (hereinafter “Wisely”) considers the guarantee of privacy and data protection to be of the utmost importance. The purpose of this privacy statement (hereinafter the “Privacy Statement”) is to inform the user in detail about the processing of his/her personal data. - WHAT DOES “PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA” MEAN?
By “processing” we mean any processing of data. Some examples are: collecting, recording, deriving, storing, structuring, retaining, consulting, viewing, sharing, transmitting, deleting, archiving, etc.
By “personal data” we mean information about an identified or identifiable natural person. This means all information such as data, sound, images, etc. that relate to a person such as a name, address, location, etc. which make it possible to identify a natural person directly or indirectly. Anonymised data cannot be associated with a natural person and accordingly, is not personal data.

- WHAT PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED BY WISELY?
Personal data processed when filling in the contact form on the www.wearewisely.com website.
Personal identification data are processed when a visitor contacts Wisely via a contact form on the website. This person is looking for more information or interested in working with Wisely. For such processing, personal data is processed based on the contractual relationship and on previous contacts.
Personal data processed when subscribing to the newsletter.
When optionally subscribing to the newsletter on the website, the applicant’s personal identification data are processed. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe option, should you no longer wish to receive the newsletter.
Personal data processed when enquiring at hello@wearewisely.com or via social media.
Whether you are a user or not, and you request for information via social media channels (such as Facebook) or via hello@wearewisely or by telephone via the helpdesk, we process personal data such as your first name, last name, telephone number for the sole purpose of providing an answer to the question. Such processing is based on Wisely’s legitimate interest in providing a quality service. If the response is provided via email, personal emails will be used. Unsubscribing is not possible in this situation.
- GOOGLE ANALYTICS
Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Wisely uses Google Analytics within the Website. Wisely does not provide personal data to Google. By analysing this data, based on a legitimate interest, Wisely learns how the website is used and is able to improve it.
- WHO RECEIVES MY PERSONAL DATA?
It is possible that the personal data mentioned above will be processed by different bodies. Overview:
Wisely: Wisely can process your data.
Others: Governments, regulators and other third parties in the context of certain legal obligations, if we suspect and/or attempt to detect certain criminal offences, in the context of the enforcement by third parties of their intellectual property rights, if we believe that you have violated the terms of use of our website or if we wish to enforce our Privacy Statement.
Your personal data will not be passed on to other external parties without prior consent, unless Wisely is obliged to do so on the basis of a statutory provision or a court ruling. Your personal data will not be passed on to Wisely’s partners.
- ARE ANONYMOUS DATA USED FOR REPORTING PURPOSES?
We may use anonymous data for commercial purposes or for external reporting. Anonymous data is personal data that is anonymised to such an extent that it no longer relates to an identified or identifiable person, or the data is rendered anonymous in such a way that the individual is not or no longer identifiable.

Wisely will retain your personal data only for the minimum period necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this Privacy Statement, except in the case of dispute resolution or if a longer retention period is required by law. Non-personal information may be kept without any time limitation for statistical purposes.

Wisely recognises that the security of personal data is part of data protection. Accordingly, Wisely takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised processing or unauthorised access in order to prevent misuse.
When transferring personal data to a processor outside the EEA, Wisely always does so in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Privacy Statement and follows the applicable data protection laws and regulations to ensure adequate safeguards.
- COOKIES
Cookies are text files that are placed on your computer to collect standard Internet logging information and behavioural information. This information is used to track visitor behaviour on the website and to compile statistical reports on the website.
- WHAT ARE MY RIGHTS AND HOW CAN I EXERCISE THEM?
How can I exercise my rights?
You can exercise your rights by sending an e-mail to hello@wearewisely.com. Wisely has one month to respond to your request. This period starts when Wisely has received your application and has all the required information to comply with your application.
Wisely will provide the requested information free of charge. If requests are unfounded or excessive, in particular due to their repetitive nature, Wisely may charge a reasonable fee or refuse the request.
What rights can I exercise?
- Right to access your data: You can ask us what personal data we process about you, what we process it for, what categories of personal data we process, with what categories of third parties we share your personal data, what the origin of the processed data is and – if applicable – what logic we use when automatically processing personal data.
- Right to rectify your data: You can ask us to rectify your personal data.
- Right to delete your data: You can ask us to delete your personal data.
- Right to withdraw consent: If the processing of a personal data is based on consent, you as a user have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.
- Right to object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data only if the processing is based on public interest or legitimate interest. - WILL MY DATA BE USED FOR AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING?
No automatic decision-making, including profiling, is carried out.
